AIPRM's own features page lists nineteen named capabilities, including 1-Click Verified Prompts, Custom Tone & Writing Styles, Prompt Variables, Live Crawling, Prompt Forking, and an omnibox entry point, and states that AIPRM works with "ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, GPT Image, and many more" (aiprm.com/features, Sep 4, 2026). Read that phrase carefully: it describes what the library's tags cover, not where the extension itself runs. Its downloads page is more precise about the actual install surface: AIPRM for ChatGPT ships on Chrome and Edge, and AIPRM for Claude ships on Chrome only, with an Edge build for Claude marked "Coming Soon" (aiprm.com/downloads, Sep 4, 2026). Gemini and Midjourney prompts in the library are things you copy out and paste elsewhere, not surfaces the extension runs inside.

Fetched fresh from its Chrome Web Store listing today ("Promptly – AI Prompt Enhancer & Manager for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini," chromewebstore.google.com, Sep 4, 2026), Promptly shows a 4.8-star rating from 290 ratings, 60,000 users, and version 0.6.0. Its own description states the core mechanism plainly: "Instantly improve any prompt with a single click or keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+M / Cmd+M on Mac)," which "rewrites your input into a well-structured, context-rich prompt." A second listed capability lets you "Save prompts instantly with Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac)," and a third, which the listing headlines as its export-and-summarize feature, runs on Ctrl+E (Cmd+E on Mac) and is described as useful "for bypassing context window and token limits."

The listing names five compatible platforms: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Copilot. Its own marketing site, promptly.fyi (fetched the same day), names a sixth, Perplexity, in its platform list, which the Chrome Web Store description does not mention. That is a small, genuine inconsistency between the vendor's own two pages, not a claim we are making up, and it is worth knowing before you assume Promptly will appear inside Perplexity: the extension listing itself does not say it does.

One capability is worth calling out on its own, because AIPRM has no equivalent: the listing describes a "NEW" feature to "Highlight any text on any website and optimize it as a prompt. Works everywhere, not just inside AI chatbots." AIPRM's panel only appears inside ChatGPT and Claude's own chat interface.

How do you actually build a prompt in each one?

The mechanisms are genuinely different, and the difference is the whole story. Say you need a follow-up email for a client who went quiet after a proposal.

As of September 4, 2026, both promptly.fyi and its Chrome Web Store listing describe it as free, with no paid tier mentioned on either page: "100% Free," "No account required. No credit card. Just better prompts," and "Add to Chrome - Free Forever." We looked for a pricing page, a "premium" mention, or a "coming soon" note on a paid plan and found none on either vendor-controlled page we checked.

AIPRM's price is more complicated to pin down twice. Its pricing page, fetched fresh today (app.aiprm.com/pricing, Sep 4, 2026), confirms the free tier in AIPRM's own words: "All customers can test the free version for an unlimited time, before deciding to purchase the premium product with higher quotas." The same page states plainly, "Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds," and separately, under a discount policy: "AIPRM does not offer discount coupons or any other rebates." A promotional banner reads "GET TWO FREE MONTHS WHEN BUYING FOR A YEAR!" and a price-indexation clause states that a subscription price "will be increased on an annual basis, depending on the terms in our billing agreement."

What that same fetch could not hand us today is the actual numeric plan table. AIPRM's plan names and monthly figures render through client-side JavaScript rather than static HTML, and a direct fetch of the page today returned only a loading placeholder where the pricing table belongs. The last time that table rendered for a direct check was August 25, 2026, when it read: Plus at $20/month, Pro at $39, Elite One at $79, and Titan at $999 for individuals, with business plans from Elite at $99/month to Enterprise at $2,990/month for 150 seats (our own AIPRM review has the full table from that date). Treat those figures as last-confirmed, not confirmed-today, and check the live page yourself before you buy anything.

One thing we could independently confirm today, unchanged: the pricing page's own FAQ still contains a worked example that cites older numbers than that table. Its own wording, line breaks included:

That's a stated total of $43. Those per-plan figures, $33 and $10, do not match the $39 and $20 the live table showed on August 25. That is AIPRM's own page disagreeing with itself, still present ten days later, and it is worth knowing before you use either number to budget.

Where does AIPRM win?

The catalogue is the moat. 5,400+ public prompts, curated further into a Verified tier, is not something a smaller competitor fast-follows in a quarter. For genuinely common tasks, someone has already written and used the prompt you need.
